SCREW TECHNOLOGY!!!!!!!

Ok, NOW I'm pissed!!! I have a long lunch break and I have recently been typing out posts and ideas into my Palm via an utterly CRAPTASTIC "professional" program known as Documents to Go (AKA. shred/lose/overwrite/not save/delete randomly)

I've given this program many, MANY, MANY more chances than it DESERVES.

"Why?" you ask? Why keep fighting with it if it is the cause of so many frustrations?

Because it's all I F**KING have!

For just wanting something to pound out these stupid little posts and read news articles and such on the PDA, the software on the Palm itself is actually very good! But the brain-dead wastes of flesh who designed the desktop synchronization software for the Mac need to be dragged 50 miles by a horse, by the BALLS!!!

I want it to work SO bad because it suites my needs without having to drag around a freaking laptop. A small, lightweight PDA with a good word processor that syncs saved files to my desktop easily.... is that last part TO MUCH TO ASK FOR!?!?!?!?!!!!!

Today, for the roughly fifteenth time, I lost 2 WHOLE POSTS (aka 3 DAYS) worth of work.....

I want so badly wanted to break SOMETHING!!!! ANYTHING!!!!!! *grrrrrrrrrrr*

To wrap up, you can send a thank you to THESE asshats for the lack of a real post today and Friday because right now I really 1.) don't want to re-type them 2.) Don't remember what the heck one was about.

Kiss my fat hairy ass Dataviz!!!!

Holy Wii......

Ok, it's now.... *peers at clock* 9:00pm and I have been playing my new Wii since 8am....

Huh..... *aside* Why am I writing this instead of playing again? Oh yeah... because I said I would... annnnd I kinda hurt my shoulder playing Wii Sports with my family.... Drat!

OK! Here Wii go!

Today, it was used by not only myself, but my whole family as they each saw me playing and went "WHOA!!!!", picked up the controller and joined in on multiplayer Wii Sports games and we all had a BLAST.

It's an outstandingly entertaining machine that even my parents wanted to try (with a bit of prodding) and had a LOT of fun when they did.

They had just as much fun making (and laughing at rediciously disfigures) Mii characters as they did playing the games.

So far I've clocked 6 hours on The Legend of Zelda: Twighlight Princess (that game is just.... just..... *happy sigh*) and misc hours on Wii Sports and even after extended use, the controllers are still comfortable to hold.... though my arms disagree.

Yes, you CAN use tiny motions to control your games, even in Wii Sports, but where is the fun in that?! You look like more of a doofus if you're just twiddling it around a little bit than actually enjoying yourself and making the elaborate motions like you're playing tennis, or bowling or playing baseball. I never knew boxing on a gaming system would be more tiring than DDR.....

The controllers are wonderful, the pointer is very sensitive and accurate. In fact the controller as a whole is EXTREMELY responsive and despite my worries, has NO lag issues what-so-ever. THIS is what video games should have always been like.

Also, the size of the sensor bar WAS a point of concern for me, all the pictures I have seen of it, it was taking up most of the top of a TV..... WRONG!! It's NO MORE than an inch thick, half inch high and barely long than a DVD case. It's surprisingly tiny compared to what I was expecting from the pictures I've seen.

And by the way, the graphics? While not "cutting edge" are quite beautiful to look at, though I never really concentrate on them long enough to notice once I get playing.

The next person I hear say "But it's not a powerful as 'x'!" I can only say to play Wii Sports for 5 minutes and after, you won't give half a flying turkey sandwich.

I have precisely NO complaints about this system.... other than possibly, I should have picked up 3 extra controllers instead of one. And I have no broadband :( Ah well.

I think I'm gonna sign off for the time being and actually try to get some sleep so I'm not doing my impression of a Resident Evil zombie tomorrow...

Questions? More info? Ask away! I'll anwser if I'm not playing!

Launch....

9 hours in line.

8 new friends made.

Nearly $500 spent.

But I have one. With 4 games and an extra controller.

w00t!!!

SO TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!!

Considering it's 1:43 am, I'll have more tomorrow... assuming I manage to put down the controllers......

Final Countdown....

2 Days.....

On Sunday, November 19th 12:01am the Wii will be released in the US. Starting Saturday at 5pm, I'm SO going to be in line at the local Wal-Mart to get one!

I've really enjoyed the last years on the net and all my friends I've met, but after it's released, I'm gone.....

Downstate!

Yup, I'm down in the southern part of New York state and visiting two of my very best friends in the Endicott area which is just a very short jaunt from Penn.

I'm down here for a few days and I've gone on a good photoshoot and got some very nice shots. I do have a Picasa Gallery and I'm going to have to do two things. One, get it set up. And Two, take the hours it will take to upload my shots to it.

I'm currently on my laptop at their appartment and I'm basically just writing a quick update, if nothing else, just so my new blog doesn't sit idle too long. I don't want it to stagnate like my Livejournal version had.

No matter! Movie!!!!

What The Ef??

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-
HAHAHAHAA!!!

Whew! Ok, I'm done.

....

...........

.......................

*snicker*

No I'm not...
WAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! LOLZ!!!!!!!11oneeleven

*wipes tear away*

Woo! DAMN that was funny! I should go shopping more often!

I cannot imagine why they thought this was a good idea, even up in the conservative rich area, I cannot imagine this selling more than a few copies to over-the-top fanatical Christians.

I honestly tried and I'm having a VERY hard time thinking of a more BORING game.....

Oh, never mind... *shudder* (Still the most god awful game ever, and this is coming from a Trekkie)

ANYWAY.

The point is.... there is no point. I could see this being marketed toward younger kids on a computer as "Edutainment" but on a GAMEBOY?!? Why?!

You can NOT tell me there was an outcry of demand for this game! (If you do, bet your sweet bippies I'm gonna ask you to prove it)

I'm sorry, but I was raised Christian and I find the mear THOUGHT of this game laughable. I couldn't begin to imagine that anyone would want to play it.

I know that part of being Christian is to spread The Word. Fine. If that that is the point, pull this game off the shelves and everyone needs to STFU.

Now don't flame me right off, I have a reason for saying this and it's NOT anti-anything.

The Word is spread my friends. Just STOP. Find me ONE person on this entire country, scratch that, this entire human riddled dirt ball who has NOT heard of Christianity by now and I won't say another word about it again.

I'm tired of anyone trying to cram ANY religion down another's throat.

Am I cynical for thinking this way? Negative? Pessimistic? Hardened? Bitter? Calloused? Cold?

Yeah, probably.

I'm still tired of it though.

P.S.- Sorry about the poor quality picture, bad lighting, bad reflection, bad cellphone camera. It's the best I could do.
